About me!

Hi! My name is Michelle - I am a self taught artist based out of Salt Lake City, Utah (and sometimes Leadville, Colorado!)

I love to live an adventurous life and enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational sports, including (but not limited to) rock climbing, backpacking, canyoneering, and skiing. I’ve worked in the outdoor industry for most of my career, but I’ve recently turned to art as a less physical coping skill to occupy my time.

I think that art is something that everyone needs in their lives, and that unfortunately with the hustle and bustle of “the real world” art is something that a lot of us forget to put energy into. Crafting these beaded creations has helped me reconnect with the playful, compassionate, and relaxed side of my self that I sometimes forget exists. It has also been a beautiful way to connect with the community around me!

I love finding inspiration in the colors I notice in the natural world when I’m outside, as well as bright, fun, and funky patterns that sometimes don’t seem to make sense until they’re all put together. I hope you enjoy wearing my work as much as I love making it!
